Is Suboxone safe?

Suboxone is an FDA-approved, evidence-based medication for opioid use disorder. Like any medication it has considerations, and our prescribers review your history and answer your questions before you start. Taken as prescribed and monitored by your provider, it is a recognized standard of care.

Does Suboxone get you high?

Taken as prescribed, Suboxone does not produce the high of other opioids. It is designed to ease cravings and withdrawal so you can function and focus on recovery.

Do you accept Medicaid?

Yes. We accept Medicaid and all other insurance types. We also work with patients who have no coverage. Coverage is rarely the thing that stops someone from getting care here.

How fast can I be seen?

Often the same day or the next. The period right after you decide to get help matters, so we move quickly.

Do you drug test patients?

Treatment includes routine monitoring, which can involve testing as a normal part of care, not as a way to catch or punish anyone. Your provider will explain what to expect.

How long does treatment last?

There is no single answer. Length depends on your situation and goals, and you and your prescriber decide together. Many people stay on treatment for an extended period because it keeps them stable.

Can I work while on Suboxone?

Yes. Many people work, drive, and carry on with daily life while taking Suboxone as prescribed. Stability is the point.

What does the first appointment look like?

Your prescriber reviews your history, explains how the medication works, and, when appropriate, helps you start the same day. We also handle pharmacy coordination and rides if you need them.

What is the difference between MAT and detox?

Detox addresses withdrawal in the short term. Medication-assisted treatment is ongoing, evidence-based care that eases cravings and withdrawal over time, which is why it tends to hold better than detox alone.
